My name is Beatriz Albuquerque. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am married to Edgardo and we have three children: Damián, Soledad and Rocio. All my life cats and dogs surrounded me.

As soon as Edgardo and I got married, one friend gave us a cat as a gift. This was our first pet. He lived with us for 15 years. We were very happy but when he died, we felt a big emptiness. We missed something and it was that special pleasure you feel when living with a cat.

So we decided to adopt a new pet and there came our first “Sacred of Birman”. From the Gentleman Nestor Quatrini’s Aquazur Cattery we brought Valentino. He was a beautiful Blue Colorpoint male.

Later we brought home a female Seal Colorpoint. At that time I was willing to start breeding cats and travel around the Felinofilia’ world. In 1994, our first litter was born and together our breeding place, the so called “Bleu Regard Doux “(“Sweet blue look”).

As time went by I wanted so much to meet and enjoy the Ragdoll race. After long researches I found out that the Ragdolls haven’t been introduced in the south of our continent yet. In October 1998 we brought to Argentina the first Ragdoll couple. They came from Spain. They were a Lilac Bicolor male from Ibiza and a Blue Colorpoint female from Murcia.

Then, we imported two females from Switzerland, a Seal Colorpoint and a Seal Mitted. In the following year we brought a Danish Seal Bicolor male and a Mitted Seal Lynx male from the USA, covering then the vast color spectrum and type that represents this race and incorporating a big range of blood lines.

All of these cats and their babies, which are being kept for our cattery, are giving us big satisfactions in the contests and shows we attend.

This is the way the “Bleu Regard Doux” was born.
This is the way the “Bleu Regard Doux”grows.

With all the love we dedicate to and receive from those wonderful beings: our cats.
